Our lamb kidneys are sourced from heritage British breeds, reared slowly on natural pasture for exceptional quality and flavour. Carefully prepared and flash-frozen for convenience, these kidneys offer a tender texture and a rich, distinctive taste prized in traditional British cooking.
Ideal for classic dishes like devilled kidneys on toast or as a flavourful addition to steak and kidney pies, they cook quickly and pair beautifully with robust sauces and buttery mash. High in iron and full of character, lamb kidneys are a true expression of nose-to-tail eating done well.
This product is frozen and will defrost whilst in transit to you. Ensure this product is thoroughly defrosted before cooking. We strongly recommend cooking within 24 hours for best quality. This product must not be refrozen.

It's good to eat and enjoy heritage breed meat, showing farmers that there is a market for their herds and flocks and encourage them to rear them. Without a demand for their meat, many breeds would die out altogether. When intensive farming reigned unchallenged in the second half of the last century, many of our traditional breeds all but disappeared because they don't take kindly to factory farming. We want to change this and help more people realise that we need to safeguard the natural diversity of our farm animals and to demand meat with intrinsic flavour that comes from higher welfare systems. All of our meat fits that bill perfectly.
