Description

Our Lebanese-style minced venison kofta mixture has been carefully crafted for versatility, making it ideal for a variety of delectable dishes especially for easy autumnal dining. Drawing inspiration from Levantine flavours, we've combined cumin, garlic, coriander, and spices to leave long-lasting flavour on the palate. Shape it by hand into koftas, perfect for grilling on the BBQ, flatten it into patties for a unique venison burger, or crumble the mince and pair it with flatbread, garlic sauce, and red cabbage salad.

This product is frozen and will defrost whilst in transit to you. Ensure this product is thoroughly defrosted before cooking. We strongly recommend cooking within 24 hours for best quality. This product must not be refrozen.

Shelf life: minimum 2 days.

Ingredients: venison (83%), water, potato starch, gluten-free breadcrumb:(rice flour, tapioca starch, potato starch, salt, yeast), citrus fibre, harissa paste, salt, potato starch, spices:(white pepper, coriander, nutmeg, black pepper, chilli powder, pimento), yeast extract, preservative (sodium metabisulphite), onion powder, antioxidant (ascorbic acid), dried parsley, garlic puree, smoked paprika, ground cumin.

Experts estimate there have never been so many deer in the UK, and with an absence of natural predators their sheer numbers threaten to overwhelm natural ecosystems. We source our wild venison from The Duke of Argyll Estate in Scotland and the Fountains Abbey Estate, which is just up the road from us in Ripon, North Yorkshire. The Duke of Argyll Estate is one of the wildest and romantic areas of the British Isles, while the Fountains Abbey Estate supplies us with wild parkland venison as their rangers need to control the numbers carefully. We typically stock Red deer, but occasionally receive Sika and Fallow deer.
