- 400 g Beef strips
- 30 ml peanut or light olive oil
- 2 x spring onion finely sliced
- 1 x red pepper finely sliced
- 125 g sugar snap peas finely sliced
- 100 ml teriyaki sauce
- Small bunch coriander chopped
- 1 x lime cut in to wedges
- TERIYAKI GLAZE
- 250 ml teriyaki sauce
- 50 ml soy sauce
- 150 ml honey
- 15 ml lime syrup
- 35 ml rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic sliced
- 25 g ginger sliced
- 2 star anise
- 1 red chilies split
- Coriander stalks

Beef Strips with Teriyaki Glaze
- Mix all teriyaki glaze ingredients into a dish, then marinade the meat for between 24 - 72 hours
- When ready to cook, preheat the wok until oil sizzles when added
- Season the meat just prior to cooking
- Lightly oil the cooking utensil
- Add the meat to the wok - don't overcrowd the cooking base to avoid the meat boiling
- Cook over high heat turning the steak on all sides for 2 to 3 minutes for nice rare meat
- Finish by tossing through the fine strips of vegetables
