Our Geese have a distinctive, gamey flavour and with its tasty, succulent meat, it’s a worthy centrepiece for the most discerning table. Suitable for a smaller meal, these whole birds are delicious with braised red Cabbage, Potatoes roasted in the bird's own fat and tart apple sauce. THIS PRODUCT IS FROZEN AND WILL DEFROST WHILST IN TRANSIT TO YOU. Please allow up to 24 hours for this product to defrost before cooking. Ensure this product is thoroughly defrosted before cooking. Once the product is thoroughly defrosted consume within 3 days. This product must not be frozen.
Goose meat has a darker colour and a much richer flavour than that of other poultry. All our geese are hand picked to ensure ample breast meat, before being expertly prepared & beautifully dressed, leaving the whole bird intact, with the giblets & fat. Typically more prized than turkey, they take a lot more food to fatten, but the reward is delicious rich meat.
