Our take on a traditional German Wurst, we’ve taken outdoor reared Yorkshire Pig pork and infused it with the characteristic taste of a wurst through an expertly curated blend of fresh marjoram, caraway seeds, cracked pepper and a little of our smokey Nidderdale pancetta. These natural ingredients are combined and crafted by our artisan sausage makers for the smooth texture expected of the wurst - prepare for a superb sausage.
Our sausage makers have crafted this wurst to recreate the traditional flavour, the smooth texture and characteristic ‘snap’ expected of the German favourite. Using only the finest ingredients, British Yorkshire Pig pork and natural casings, this is a wurst that benefits from a British influence.
A pure pork sausage with a delicate smoked aroma and rich, dense texture, it works perfectly in a roll with mustard and ketchup. For a more substantial dish serve with boiled potatoes and sauerkraut.
