A dish Ukrainian in origin, but a firm British favourite, this hand made Chicken Kiev is made with fresh chicken in the Yorkshire valley of Nidderdale, layered with aromatic bread crumbs, and stuffed with fresh garlic butter. Ideal for both quick and easy mid week meals and special treats, owing to the natural succulence and real flavour of our chicken.
The key to a flavoursome Chicken Kiev is its origin. Ours are made from plump birds, reared on a natural diet, and allowed to grow to maturity for the best flavours. That also makes for the best chicken breasts, fresh and firm, which are then cut by hand on the Butcher's block, and carefully sliced, before being rolled in home made breadcrumbs, and stuffed with garlic butter.
With aroma and proper flavour, our Chicken Kievs are ideal for mid week meals, as well as Saturday night treats. Shallow fry gently and baste in its own enriched butter for the best results, before serving with home made fries, and seasonal greens tossed in vinaigrette.
