Ingredients
- 2 x Bulbs fennel cut into quarters through root
- 1/4L Chicken stock
- 1/4L Dry white wine
- 150ml Fruity olive oil
- Sea salt and pepper
Introduction
The tender fennel can be served warm with grilled fish or chicken or as a simple first course with fresh baked bread.Method
- Simply place fennel in your favourite deep casserole.
- Add oil, stock and wine.
- Season with sea salt and pepper.
- Bring to simmer,cover and braise in oven for 45 minutes turning occasionally.
