We're delighted to announce that our apprentice butcher, Sam Wolloms, recently won 'Apprentice of the Year' in the National Apprenticeship Awards 2023! Nominated by his college for hard work and dedication to his craft and studies, Sam said "I'm really proud to have received this highly recognised award to showcase my hard work, after dedicating the last few years to artisan butchery. I am from a family of farmers so my passion for butchery goes hand in hand".

Along with Sam, we have three apprentice butchers working at Farmison & Co, learning and developing their skills under the guidance of our Master Butchers and production team. Our apprentice program allows us to develop the next generation of butchers and in turn, grow towards our mission to get the nation eating better meat.
