Old World Beef is regarded as some of the best beef in the world to those in the know, and it makes for the most magnificent steak you'll have ever eaten. Also known as 'Old Cow' Beef, this beef is in short supply, so we try and stock as often as possible.
These retired cattle have been roaming the hills of the North Yorkshire Moors for over double that of usual beef cattle - anything between 7 and 10 years, allowing them to slowly mature as they graze the unique flora of Yorkshire Limestone country. The result is world class produce with superb marbling and an entirely unique flavour.
Our Old World beef boasts a firm texture in the mouth and the flavour is bold and rich. Like Old World wine, it has length and flavour that stays with you and releases the deep beefy notes which are enhanced with at least 32 days dry-ageing.
Our next Old World Beef will be in stock in November.
