Chef prepared, our marinated Lamb Riblets are cut fresh to order from the lamb breast and marinated. These meaty little lamb ribs are a perfect alternative to the more substantial pork ribs. They are lightly marinated in cold pressed olive oil, Spanish sweet & smokey paprika, a little lemon zest and a touch of garlic.
These lamb riblets are taken from an often forgotten cut, which is once again returning to British butcher's boards as chefs rediscover the qualities of heritage breed lamb. These riblets are cut directly from the Lamb Breast with well marbled meat and ample fat cover, which is something butchers look for to know the meat is excellent as it gives tenderness and flavour in the kitchen. Once butcher cut, these lamb riblets then go for marinading with our expert Chefs.
You can roast your lamb riblets in a shallow tray. Alternatively, if the weather is fine and you fancy a barbecue, place the lamb riblets over white hot coals, closing the lid on the BBQ and grilling for 5 to 6 minutes turning on each side for until well charred. Best served with cool minted yoghurt, cous cous & seasonal salads.
