Method
METHOD FOR THE INDIVIDUAL PIES:
- Preheat your oven to 220°C / 200°C fan assisted (gas 7).
- Place the pies on a baking tray.
- Place in the middle shelf of your oven and bake for 30 minutes until the pastry is golden and the filling piping hot, minimum core temperature of 75°C before removing and resting for 10 minutes before serving.
METHOD FOR THE FAMILY PLATE PIE:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C / 180°C fan assisted (gas 6).
- Place the pie on a baking tray.
- Place in the middle shelf of your oven and bake for 45 minutes until the pastry is golden and the filling piping hot, minimum core temperature of 75°C before removing and resting for 20 minutes before serving.
TO SERVE:
- Serve with luxurious mash potatoes and buttered savoy cabbage.
