  1. Remove your faggots out of the packaging, pat dry and bring to room temperature
  2. Pre heat the oven to 140°C fan assisted or 160°C without a fan (gas mark 3)
  3. Choose a large, heavy based frying pan, add a little oil or duck fat & brown the faggots over a medium heat being careful not to tear the caul fat surrounding the faggot
  4. Place into a casserole dish & pour over 450ml of onion gravy (truefoods), place a tight fitting lid on top then place in centre of the oven and braise for 1 hour reaching a core temperature of minimum 70°C
  5. Remove from the oven
  6. Serve with all butter mashed potatoes & hot English mustard
