How does it work?

We are focused on supporting the nation to Eat Better Meat and with our subscription boxes, you’ll receive fresh meat to your door, every 4 weeks.

All you need to do is purchase a subscription from our website from the Eat Better Meat page and use our simple pop-up checkout. You’ll be guided through and once your order is placed, you’ll get an email from us confirming your subscription. You’ll also get an email confirming the first delivery of your box, and then an email every 4 weeks to let you know your order is on it’s way.

Our meat will arrive with you in insulated packaging which is designed to ensure your fresh meat is safe in transit for up to 72 hours.

Within our boxes, you can expect a variety of different cuts from different breeds and species and we encourage you to explore different recipes and cook up a storm in the kitchen.

What’s in my box?

Your box contents will change every 4 weeks and include seasonal cuts or joints along with our essentials.

You’ll get an email with confirmation with the new contents every 4 weeks once payment has been placed.

How do I manage my box?

You can manage your box easily online by clicking the link in the footer called ‘Manage Subscription’. You’ll be asked to enter your email and be sent a passcode to your email to access your account. You can set a password in your account after your first log in.

Within your account section, you’ll be able to pause your subscription, cancel your subscription and also amend your address and payment details.

When will I receive my box?

You will receive your first box on the next available Wednesday or Friday.

Your subsequent orders will then arrive every 4 weeks from the date of your first delivery.

Can I order additional products with my subscription?

Yes, you can add items on to your order if you contact our subscription care team. On subscriptions@farmison.com or call on 01765 824050. Any additions must be received 5 days before the order is going to be delivered to you to ensure we have time to produce your request.

We’re working on making this easier for you to manage, so watch this space.

How do I cancel my box?

You can cancel your box at any time. We take payments and create orders 4 days prior to the order being delivered. We must receive cancellation at least 5 days before the order is due.

Within your account section you can cancel or amend your subscription.

What do I do if I need to amend my delivery or card details?

You can manage your box easily online by clicking the link in the footer called ‘Manage Subscription’. You’ll be asked to enter your email and then given a passcode to access your account. We must receive the update at least 5 days before the order is due.

How do I gift a subscription box?

Each of our Eat Better Meat boxes will be available as gift options shortly.

Can I change which box I am subscribed to?

You can change the box you're subscribed to within the customer portal. You can log in to your customer portal by clicking the link in the footer of the website and then click to change your subscription. There will be a drop down of all available boxes. You can also contact our care team for support. You can email subscriptions@farmison.com or call on 01765 824050.

Can I pause my subscription?

You can pause your box at any time. Pausing a box does not cancel the box for an ongoing basis. Once you pause a box, the box will automatically reoccur in the following period. You’ll get an email once the subscription has restarted.

When is my payment made?

Your first payment is taken immediately and then for the subsequent boxes your payment will be taken 4 days before the subscription recurs.

Should there be an issue with charging your card, we will reattempt this up to 2 times and may attempt to contact you on the phone. If we fail to take the payment, your subscription will be cancelled.

Can I apply a voucher code to my order?

Yes, there is an option when you click to purchase a plan to use a voucher code. Only stated voucher codes will work on an order.

We’re working on allowing refer-a-friend discount to work on subscriptions but currently, this can only be used on our one-off products.

Can I use a gift card on my order?

Yes, gift vouchers will work against subscription, but you will need to contact our team to apply this to the order. Please email subscriptions@farmison.com or call on 01765 824050 to apply your gift card to the order

How much will it cost?

The prices shown on the website are the prices you’ll pay – we’ve covered delivery for you. Our subscription boxes are outstanding value, and by subscribing to the meat boxes, you will make a saving on products.

How much meat is healthy?

The NHS recommends the following: Meat is a good source of protein, vitamins and minerals in your diet. However, if you currently eat more than 90g (cooked weight) of red and processed meat a day, the Department of Health advises that you cut down to 70g, which is the average daily consumption in the UK.

What does Eat Better Meat mean?

We believe that for a healthy diet, meat is important, but its critical for the environment and your health that the meat you eat is the best quality. All of our meat is free-range, grass-fed from small farms in the UK. Our farmers look after their animals and they are all ‘slow-grown’. They live for much longer than commercially reared animals, which not only makes for better tasting meat, means the animals have lived healthier and happier lives. They do not use antibiotics (unless absolutely necessary) and eat natural diets. Our meat is as natural as it comes.

What are F&Co doing to reduce plastic?

Farmison & Co are working hard to reduce the plastic that is used in packaging – from the box your food is delivered in to the wrap that surrounds it, we’re reviewing everything to ensure we don’t compromise the quality of the meat but deliver the food in a more sustainable way.
