Ingredients
- 1 x red cabbage finely shredded
- 1 x red onions thinly sliced
- 1 x Granny Smith apple diced
- 125g butter
- 3/8liter red wine
- 125ml red wine vinegar
- 75ml port
- Juice and zest 2 oranges
- 150g sugar
- 1tbsp Mixed spice
- 125g golden raisins
Introduction
The ideal accompaniment for any roast dinner or Christmas feast.Method
- Place all in heavy bottomed pan except half the butter.
- Cover with lid and cook till tender.
- Remove lid and reduce liquid till glossy and rich.
- Fold in cold diced butter.
