A Farmison & Co exclusive, our heritage breed Saddleback Lincolnshire pork sausage is a real treat. Made to a traditional recipe, we've used the finest coarse-cut free-range pork from our drove of Saddleback pigs, promising an almost nutty, distinctive finish. Seasoned to complement the natural flavour of the pork, with a subtle hint of sage, pepper and salt, this free-range sausage is an all-rounder, perfect on the BBQ, in a casserole, or even at breakfast.
What makes this sausage so special is the Saddleback pork, a breed that takes much longer to mature than other commercial breeds you'll find in your supermarket sausages. Through a slow growing process, these free-ranging hogs lay down layers of natural fat for succulent and well developed flavour that the whole family is sure to love. This is a one-off exclusive batch, so once they're gone, they're gone!
Crafted using a traditional recipe and the finest coarse-cut free-range pork from our Saddleback pig herd, this sausage promises a unique, rich flavour that's simply irresistible. About the breed

The Saddleback is ideal as an introduction to the quality of heritage breed pork. They are hardy fellows being good foragers amongst rough grazing, though they take much longer to mature than commercial breeds. This means well developed flavour and creamy character, and the meat is often almost nutty in character. We try and stock the Saddleback as often as possible, with it being a great all rounder, proving bacon, steaks and chops, and wonderful roasting joints.
