This sausage is our take on an Italian classic, handmade using coarse cut free-range Yorkshire pork for distinctive chunky texture and prepared into four neat bangers. Our Italian sausages are made using rich, free-range pork and a blend of fennel, red wine and black pepper for traditional Italian flavour lending itself to classic Italian dishes, or even your favourite British classics. These free-range bangers are ideal for a simple midweek supper, paired with a hearty tomato sauce or even as a pizza topping.
Let your sausages come to room temperature before cooking. Preheat the pan with a fine film of oil, though not too hot as this could cause the sausages to explode. Don't overcrowd the cooking base, and cook through on a medium heat, until rich in colour, caramelised and firm to touch.
