We totally agree that these handcrafted burgers are something special. Made to our exclusive recipe, these steak beef burgers are created using only the finest grass-fed beef from this week's breed. A cut above, they're enriched with bone marrow which melts to enhance the burger with juicy tenderness we think can't be rivaled. All that meaty goodness with the delicate balance of wild oregano and cracked black pepper seasoning makes for a superb and distinctive taste. This is the ultimate burger, ideal for serving with plenty of homemade chips, or combining with gourmet ingredients that pack a punch.

How to cook steak & bone marrow burgers

Our award-einning steak and bone marrow burgers are an excellent way to sample the succulent flavour of our magnificent beef breeds. Try using refined ingredients such as fried duck egg, sautéed livers for excellent results. Be sure to rest the burgers for a few minutes before serving in brioche buns. This allows the meat to relax and the juicy succulence of our native breed meat to come into its own.

It's good to eat and enjoy heritage breed meat from British breeds, showing farmers that there is a market for their herds and flocks and encourage them to rear them. Without a demand for their meat, many breeds would die out altogether. When intensive farming reigned unchallenged in the second half of the last century, many of our traditional breeds all but disappeared because they don't take kindly to factory farming. We want to change this and help more people realise that we need to safeguard the natural biodiversity of our farm animals and to demand meat with intrinsic flavour that comes from higher welfare systems. All of our meat fits that bill perfectly.
