Description

A visually stunning Christmas beef centrepiece with prime, grass-fed rib meat, that's been expertly dry-aged, trimmed, and left on the bone for maximum flavour. This free-range beef is the perfect cut for festive feasts, generously stuffed with mustard, bone marrow, and parsley that will infuse and enrich the natural flavours of the free-range beef upon cooking. Coupled with the use of grass-fed beef and dry age maturing techniques, this joint makes for outstanding dining this Christmas period. Serve with roasted parsnips and potatoes alongside a rich red wine sauce to finish.

All of our Christmas range delivered on 19th Dec to 24th Dec is guaranteed to stay fresh until Boxing Day *except products containing pastry which are pre frozen. 48 hour deliveries (Highlands & Islands) may have a shorter life depending on dispatch times.

How to cook the Beef Fore Rib

To cook, massage a little duck or goose fat onto the fore-rib, and season with good quality fine sea salt. On a heavy-based frying pan, sear the free-range beef on all sides before placing it in the centre of the oven and finishing. Allow the meat to rest for at least half the cooking time before carving, this allows the grain to relax making for super tender beef. A butcher's favourite, the rib promises rich marbling through the joint, while the bone also gives the meat flavour upon cooking. To complement this, the joint has been generously stuffed with flavoursome mustard, bone marrow, and parsley.
