This 100% full-blood Japanese Wagyu rib eye steak is imbued with natural, intramuscular marbling as well as its legendary 'nugget' of fat, also known as the 'eye', making it one of the richest cuts of Wagyu available. We've worked with experts in Japanese Wagyu to source the finest quality beef from the award-winning prefecture, Kagoshima, in Japan, home to some of the most desired Wagyu beef in the world. Expect incredibly rich and tender, melt-in-the-mouth beef that can't be matched by Wagyu reared anywhere else in the world.

About the cut

Rib Eye Steak

Also known as Scotch Fillet, the rib eye steak is taken from the rib primal of a beef animal with the bone removed. It's traditionally known as a butcher's cut because the butcher would reserve certain tasty cuts for himself, the rib eye being one of them. As it comes from the upper rib cage, the muscles are underused with more fat, promising tender and well marbled meat.
