How to cook new york rib chop

A favourite the year round, with the eye catching beef rib providing luscious, rich meat for feasting, which makes it such a New York City favourite. Fry on a high heat, cooking for five to six minutes each side for a medium rare finish and serve with homemade chips, bearnaise sauce, and salad.

About the cut

New York Rib Chop

Also known as Fore Rib Steak, this is a feasting favourite, on the bone for full flavour and cut from grass fed beef. A butcher's favourite, the rib promises rich marbling through the joint, while the rib bone also gives the meat flavour upon cooking. To complement this, our NYC Rib Chops have been dry aged matured to further tenderise the meat, promising rich eating.
