An ancient delicacy, visually stunning, and perfect as a Christmas roasting joint. Our Suckling Pigs promise rich, creamy meat, and are very easy to cook. We supply several weights, depending on the size of your Christmas table while all of our suckling pigs are sourced from Nidderdale, and are sourced from heritage breeds, primarily rare breed Gloucestershire Old Spots, but also others, which are known for their excellent eating quality, and full flavour.

Suckling Pigs are a European favourite, also featuring prominently in Spanish and French butchery. Ours are taken from Yorkshire reared heritage breeds, primarily Old Spots for the best meat quality, to offer very tender pork. They are then carefully prepared, removing the offal, and dispatched fresh for home roasting.

A visually stunning centrepiece for Christmas and perfect for slow roasting. The key is to make sure the pig is well salted before cooking. Try stuffing the belly with aromatic vegetables to infuse the meat with extra aroma and flavour and serve with rich, buttery Granny Smith apple sauce to compliment the succulent meat.
