A new addition for Easter, this stunning Saddle of Lamb has been developed in collaboration with our Master Butcher and Chef Jeff. Stuffed with a Mediterranean inspired stuffing of sun-dried tomatoes, lemon zest, black olives & rosemary; a classic combination of fresh, sprightly flavours to bring you a Spring time centre-piece to remember. Made using our heritage breed Lamb, sourced from the North Yorkshire Moors, this leg of Lamb is one of our hero roasting joints this season.
The Lamb Saddle is cut by taking out the spine of the lamb, before trimming and rolling by hand the meat into a roasting joint with ample fat covering, then tying. Sourced from farms that have been rearing lamb on lush pastures for generations, this is prime English lamb at its best, with the ample fat covering providing flavour and succulence upon cooking.
