Made from chopped prime steak and our Master Butcher’s own seasoning of sea salt and cracked black pepper, these classic quarter pound burgers are deliciously meaty, offering proper bite and all the delicious flavour you can expect from heritage breed beef. As such they’re perfect for popping on the barbecue, or serving up as gourmet patties the year round, and are ideal for combining with big flavours.
A burger should be juicy and succulent with a high proportion of prime beef to make sure there is plenty of flavour running through the patty. Inspired by gourmet dining, this burger is as pure as possible, made with prime steak meat cut from the rib of the beast, and a seasoning of sea salt and cracked black pepper to enhance, not mask, the natural flavour of the meat.
Gourmet burgers are an excellent way to sample the succulent flavour of our beef. Try using refined ingredients such as fried duck egg, sautéed livers for excellent results, or home made BBQ ketchup. Be sure to rest the burgers for a few minutes before serving. This allows the meat to relax and the juicy succulence of our native breed meat to come into its own.
