Developed by our in-house Michelin Star chef Jeff Baker, this exclusive roast from our artisan Chef Prepared range combines prime saddle of British lamb with stuffed apricots, herbs and sweet onion. The stuffing infuses and perfectly complements the meat for a tasty and aromatic joint. Sourced from only free range heritage breed autumn lamb, this is a delicious alternative centrepiece.
This joint is the result of collaboration between the Executive Development Chef and Master Butcher at Farmison & Co. Firstly we source outstanding Yorkshire lamb, which ranks among the best in Britain for its natural succulence and intrinsic flavour, before hand cutting, rolling and boning. It is then stuffed with a special blend of apricots, herbs and sweet onion that has been tried and tested to ensure the right balance to imbue the meat with gentle aroma and delicious flavour when roasting.
This hand-stuffed saddle of lamb is sweet and succulent. Serve with rosemary infused gravy and seasonal roast vegetables for a traditional, winning meal.
