You will receive an automated receipt of your email, if you haven't received this into your inbox, perhaps check your junk mail before contacting us again.

Delivery

Will you deliver to my address?

Please enter your postcode into the "Check Delivery" box at the top right of the screen. Farmison can deliver to most mainland locations, if your address is not yet included please feel free to contact us and we can let you know personally when the service is available.

Can you deliver to alternative address like work or if I am away on holiday?

Many of our customers do ask us to deliver their box to their place of work or vacation. As long as we have a postcode we will always deliver but please remember to refrigerate our chilled produce as soon as you receive it.

What happens to my delivery if I am out?

During the order process we will ask for a instructions from you for a safe place to leave your order if you are out. Otherwise a signature will be needed upon delivery. Your delivery will be chilled so there is no need to wait in for your order. However it is important that all meat and dairy products should be refrigerated as soon as possible following receipt of your delivery.

What if there really is no where to leave my delivery?

If there is no instructions of a safe place to leave an order the courier will request a signature on delivery. You can have your delivery made to another address such as your place of work.

Help - my box has not arrived!

On the unlikely event of your order not arriving please contact us immediately using the contact us email or simply call us.

My delivery looks like its been tampered with.

Although farmison can not be responsible for your items after delivery has been made, we do strive to get them to you in perfect condition so please always check your delivery when it arrives and contact us immediately if that has not been the case.

What if there is a problem with delivery or its contents?

Please contact us as soon as possible and we will advise on what to do next. You will receive a receipt telling you that we have received your email.

Can I pick up my order from farmison?

Sorry, farmison is not open to the public so we can not offer this service.

An item is missing from my order, what should I do?

Some items are damaged or are of poor quality, can I get them replaced?

Do you deliver on the weekend?

A Saturday morning delivery is available at a small additional charge.

Can you deliver to my work?

Many of our customers do ask us to deliver their box to their place of work or vacation. As long as we have a postcode we will always deliver.

What happens if the delivery van can not deliver?

We will contact you as early as possible to rearrange the delivery. In such an event, our liability to you shall be limited to the price of the goods ordered and the cost of delivery. Please see our Ts&Cs for more information

When and how can I make a return?

Farmison cannot accept returned goods but if there was something wrong with the order or the products were not of the highest quality then please contact us and see our Returns Policy for more information.

Packaging

How does my order stay chilled?

We include chill packs within all of our boxes where refrigeration is required. This includes all of our butchery produce which sits within insulated packaging. Our dairy and cheese produce is also sent with ice to ensure it reaches you safely.

Please remember to refrigerate all chilled goods as soon as you receive them.

What is the packaging made of?

Your order will come packed in a specially designed, two-tier Farmison box made from 60% recycled cardboard and is fully recyclable. To keep everything cool, at present we need to dispatch that to you in a polystyrene outer box.

Can I recycle the packaging?

Will everything come in the same box?

We endeavour to ensure that your order is delivered in one consignment. Due to the full range of produce we specialise in it may be necessary to packaging in more than one box due to wanting to ensure all of your order reaches you in perfect condition.

Does farmison have products available that are not on the website?

All of our current products are listed. These will vary with seasonality and the availability of breeds, especially rare breeds. Please contact us to discuss a special order or request and we will endeavor to help.

How do I get free delivery?

Simply order over £60.00 and the delivery charge will automatically come off at check-out, subject to the delivery service you require and your location .

What box size is best for me and my family?

Our boxes are especially designed to cater for couples and families. Each box clearly states who it is typically intended for and the minimum number of items it contains.

Will I receive a confirmation?

Yes, you will receive a confirmation text when you place your order.

What's in the Greengrocer boxes this week? How Do I know what's in them?

Every week we work very hard to accurately detail each item of produce and the region & country of origin. Occasionally we may have to substitute an item if it is not up to our quality standards on the day of packing your box.

Can I place an advanced order?

Yes, you will need to select your required dates upon Check-out, there may be an extra charge if you wish to nominate a specific time that would be part of our Premium delivery times.

We cannot guarantee availability in advance. We will contact you if an item becomes unavailable.

Is there a maximum order?

Certain stocks may be limited but we will let you know that before you purchase.

Is there a minimum order?

There is no minimum order although you will benefit from free delivery if you spend more than £60.00, subject to the day you want delivery and the location of your delivery address.

Storage

How do I know how to store produce?

Full storage instructions are printed on the label.

Can I freeze produce - how will I know?

These details will be printed on your order confirmation, we also let you know on the product description before you purchase.To help you we mark all of our products on the website where it is applicable.

Should I wash farmison produce?

Like all fresh fruit and veg it is advisable to wash before use, if we have already done this for you it will say on the label.

How do your Best Before dates work?

For every product on our website we aim to give a typical shelf life and products are marked with a best before date. All our greengrocery items come with tips on storage and typical use by dates.

Can I amend my order after I have placed it?

Yes, but please be aware that there is a cut-off for amending orders, this will be clear on your account and will be stated on your emailed order confirmation. Please contact us with your amendments and we will endeavor to alter your order.

How do I change the day of my delivery?
