Reblochon Chaudron from Haute Savoie
Fiercely guarded by the rules this raw cow’s milk AOC cheese is produced in the Haute Savoie. It is a semi-soft washed rind cheese with a creamy texture and distinctive aroma but a mild tangy flavour. It has taken a number of years to find the right quality Reblochon. This AOC cheese is specially selected for Cheese Cellar by affineur Jacques Hennart and matured for 5 weeks as opposed to most which are matured for only 2 weeks. This gives our Reblochon a much deeper, more intense flavour. A classic cheese with a terracotta rind and a soft, smooth texture with nutty after taste.
