Pork is the meat that has been most compromised by intensive factory farming methods and selective breeding. That's why so much of what's on offer is dry and characterless. Who needs it? We sell pork that tastes like it did before animal breeders reprogrammed our porkers to produce lots of lean meat in record time.We concentrate on traditional native breeds of high welfare British pigs, such as Berkshire and Tamworth, which have intrinsic flavour. They are also endowed with that utterly essential covering of fat, which is an absolute must if, that is, you want succulent, creamy meat.
